Siblings

Sibling-Owned and Rooted in Tradition:

Founded in 2017,our business began as a way for siblings Paul (North Carolina) and Leanne (Tennessee) to reconnect as a family during Paul’s time in the military. Inspired by a desire to honor our shared heritage, we started with handcrafted soaps, using Granny Brock’s cherished lard soap recipe that has been passed down through the generations.

What began as a family project quickly grew into a thriving business. In 2024, we welcomed our sister Cana as Head of Georgia Sales, further solidifying this endeavor as a true family collaboration.

Today, we offer an expanded selection of handcrafted products, including the original lard soap and its variations, soy wax candles, wax melts, beeswax and coconut oil candles, foaming sugar scrubs, lotions, and balms. Each item is made with care, reflecting the values and traditions that brought us together.

We are excited to share our journey and our products with you! Check out our Upcoming Events section to see where you can find us next!

Down a winding road, just off of Tabor Loop in Crossville, Tennessee stands this little house with a soul as strong as the hands that built it. This is Nanny Brock’s house, where the old ways were more than just a tradition- they were a necessity.

Nanny Brock with her apron dusted in homemade lye ash, stirred her great black kettle, coaxing soap from simple ingredients and sheer determination. The recipe she perfected wasn’t just measured in hand rendered tallow and ash, but in patience, love, and knowing that hard work makes the body proud. She once ran her own laundry service in the kitchen.

Though time has worn the edges of the old place, it still stands, weathered and unwavering.
